We are seeking a medical Optometrist in Florence, South Carolina. The practice is one of the state’s most progressive, high-quality, multi-specialty practices, using the industry’s most advanced technology and the best state-of-the-art office space. The ideal Optometrist will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating parts of patient conditions affecting their visual system. Typical duties include performing vision tests, diagnosing sight problems, prescribing medications, performing pre-and post-operative, focusing on managing routine and advanced Glaucoma patients, co-management of Glaucoma surgery patients, and more.

• A current active license issued by the State Board of Optometry in South Carolina
• Provide routine and medical vision care up to the full scope of licensure
• Diagnose sight problems, Prescribe eyeglasses,  Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Competitive compensation package, which includes base salary plus a percentage of collections and optical collections
