Eye Doc Recruiting is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join a well-established private practice in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. An experienced Ophthalmic Technician will work alongside you, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality clinical care while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations utilizing the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ visual health.
• Co-manage refractive surgery patients, including LASIK evaluations and post-operative care.
• Evaluate and treat patients with dry eye disease using advanced therapies, including IPL when appropriate.
• Fit specialty contact lenses and provide myopia management services.
• Educate patients regarding ocular health, treatment options, eyewear, and preventive eye care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey Optometry License or ability to obtain one.
• Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Experience with ocular disease management preferred.
• Interest in co-managing refractive surgery, dry eye treatment, and specialty eye care is a plus.
